December 2009 Dear SCI Wisconsin Members, It's not hard to ask for money when times are good and people are flush. It's quite another thing when we are facing uncertain times. In order to continue all of our many good works, we desperately need your help. Keep in mind that SCI FIRST FOR HUNTERS is number one when it comes to protecting hunters rights, encouraging and promoting the shooting sports and hunter education among America's youth. We also provide hunting opportunities for the terminally ill, handicapped and disabled veterans, while supporting numerous conservations projects. It's times like this when I am reminded of a refrain from an old Frank Sinatra song: "Even when my chips are low, I still have some for giving". I hope each of you still have some "chips" for giving. Please dig deep and be a part of something that is good. Not only for you, but for those who will follow us in the hunting legacy and the many less fortunate we continue to serve. Our annual fundraiser is March 12 & 13, 2010 at the Wyndham Hotel by the Milwaukee Airport. 70% of the net proceeds from this fundraiser help finance the following categories: Hunters Rights, Conservation Projects Education of Youth and the Non-Hunting Public and Humanitarian Projects. Thank you - Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Sincerely, Ron Kujawa
