I would like to start by thanking you for your past attendance and support at the SCI Wisconsin Chapter Inc.’sannual banquets. For many years, the Wisconsin Chapter has been rated the #1 or #2 Chapter in the World.  This is based on our 30% check that we give to National at the May Board Meeting in Washington DC. These achievements would not have been possible without your participation and financial support.

I am writing to ask for your support for our 32nd Annual Big Game Hunters Grand Banquet & Outfitters Show, March 13th and 14th, 2009 at the Wyndham Hotel by the Milwaukee Airport. This is a weekend filled with camaraderie, sharing hunting stories and photographs with your friends and to also enjoy all the fine food, fundraising activities and more.  70% of the net proceeds from this fundraiser help finance the following categories: Hunter’s Rights, Conservation Projects, Education of Youth & the Non-Hunting Public and Humanitarian Projects.

The 2008 Project Funding Report Funding Report specifically lists where our Chapter has dispersed funds over the last fiscal year, as well as a cumulative total.  Please consider supporting your local Safari Club Chapter this year, by making a personal or corporate donation of cash and/or auction items and soliciting business entities that you are affiliated with, for cash and/or auction items, as well. You may also participate in this weekend event by displaying your animal mount(s), volunteering to help throughout the weekend, and of course, attending the Banquet events.

Please complete the enclosed donation form. Auction item donations would be appreciated as soon as possible, so there is enough time to place them on the appropriate auction. Donor recognition will be listed in all the Programs for cash donations received by March 2nd. Auction item donations must be received by February 15th for donor recognition in the programs. People donating an item that nets SCI $500.00 or more will be invited to the appreciation dinner. Cash donations of $500.00 or more are also invited to the appreciation dinner.

Also this year, we are going to have a Bonus Board. Anyone donating $500.00 cash will receive (1) ticket, or donating $1000.00 cash will receive (3) tickets. The winner will receive $1,000.00 Cash. Cash Donations must be received and paid for by March 2nd to qualify. All checks and credit cards will be processed after March 2nd. The winning ticket will be pulled March 14th.

I urge you to support Safari Club International. With your help, we will continue to provide funds to support worthwhile projects and protect your hunter’s rights. Thank you for your anticipated support.
